Endgame provides both free and premium price projection services, covering a wide range of scenarios.

Our price projection services model Australia’s National Electricity Market (NEM), generating dispatch outcomes over a 20-year time horizon across multiple scenarios. These include regularly updated in-house market views as well as bespoke, topical scenarios at the time of publication.

In addition, we maintain a Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) price subscription service based on the modelling above. This service includes half-yearly briefings, a detailed report, RCP/RTM price projections, capacity and generation mix, and half-hourly data for all relevant inputs and outputs. We project three house scenarios and update this subscription every six months so that clients can keep up to date with the latest market developments.

We also offer a Volatility Package, which includes supplementary modelling to explore alternative sensitivities. This package applies the in-house market view and tests sensitivities to demand, weather reference years, and outage scenarios, capturing the full range of potential price volatility in the future system.

Endgame’s price projections provide clients with up-to-date NEM price forecasts that can be integrated into their own modelling efforts.

Premium Service: Quarterly Updates

We offer the premium price projection quarterly, which includes energy market outcomes over a large range of scenarios out to 2050.

We provide the underlying data to enable you and your team to analyse and draw your own insights from the results. This includes both summary data and raw outcomes such as half hourly demand, dispatch, and interconnector results in CSV format.

In all packages we include a regulatory outlook and update. The service leverages Endgame’s extensive regulatory experience with an updated discussion of the regulatory landscape.
